The UTC men’s basketball team made a remarkable run to the National Invitational Tournament championship in March and April, becoming the first Southern Conference school to win the title. Along the way, the Mocs set a school record for nationally televised games in a season at 10 while garnering more than $10 million in value through earned media exposure. The campus and Chattanooga community honored the team with a welcome-home celebration and a downtown parade.
