Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office Detective Matt Johnson was selected by the County Technical Assistance Service (CTAS) for a scholarship to attend the National Forensic Academy.

The academy, a program of CTAS sister agency the Law Enforcement Innovation Center, is known nationwide for its hands-on training in crime scene investigation, evidence collection and forensic science. Participants learn directly from leading experts in the field and obtain skills that make a real difference at their agencies.

The CTAS scholarship program helps law enforcement professionals from across Tennessee attend top-tier leadership and specialized training that their agencies might not otherwise be able to fund.
