Each year, the UT Alumni Association recognizes outstanding faculty and staff for their work in three categories.
Distinguished Service Professorship
The UTAA Distinguished Service Professorship award is intended by the UTAA to attract and retain outstanding professors. Winners receive a $1,000 cash award for three years and the title of distinguished service professor. There have been 96 awarded this distinction since 1962.
