These Friends enjoy an outdoor conversation despite the snow at the University ofTennessee at Martin. The statues in the Quad by Paul Meek Library symbolize the lifelong friendships forged among students, faculty and staff. The artwork is a tribute to Dr. Phil Watkins, Student Government Association advisor and vice chancellor for student affairs from 1964 to 2000, given by Dr. Paul Blaylock Jr. and former SGA officers.
