John Staley (Chattanooga ’93) lives in Knoxville and is president and chief executive officer of Champion Physical Therapy. Staley has served on the UTC Alumni Council and Board of Directors and as past president of the UTC Physical Therapy Alumni Association, which he assisted in creating. He has served on the UT Advisory Council and currently serves on the Alumni Career Services Task Force. Staley has served on the UTAA Annual Giving, Communication, Marketing, Career Services and Engagement committees. He is married to Stephanie (Knoxville ’94), and they have two sons, Garrett and Grayson.

Dr. Tim Tucker (Health Science Center ’88) is a pharmacist and owner of City Drug Company in Huntingdon. Tucker formerly served on the Board of Governors in 2007 as the West Tennessee in-state representative. He’s been a member of the UT Health Science Center Pharmacy Alumni Board. He has been a member of the UTAA Alumni Legislative Council since 2015 and has served on the UTAA Programming, Engagement and Career Services committees. He is married to Diane (Health Science Center ’93), and they have three sons, Will, Matthew and Jack.

Catherine Harrison King (Knoxville ’96, ’99) is an attorney and homemaker living in Decatur, Georgia. Harrison King served on the Atlanta UT Alumni chapter in the roles of secretary, vice president, president-elect, president and past president. She served as secretary and vice president of the Hamilton County UT Alumni chapter. Harrison King served on the UT Advisory Council. During her tenure, she served on the Engagement, Finance and Annual Giving committees. She was elected to serve as treasurer for the 2018-19 year. She is married to Bo King, and they have three daughters, Amelia, Madeleine and Eva Cate.

Betsy Brasher Melby
(Martin ’98, ’03) lives in Memphis and is senior vice president and relationship manager at First Tennessee Bank. She served as chair of the Women’s Council in 2009-10 as well as on the UT Martin Alumni Council and School of Business Advisory Board. Brasher Melby also served as treasurer for the UTAA in 2013-14 and on the UTAA Finance and Engagement committees. She is married to Eric Melby and has three stepchildren, Anna, Alissa and Andrew.
