By fate, the grandsons of UT football greats, the late Buddy Lyons (Knoxville ’53) and Hank Lauricella (Knoxville ’52), met for the first time in Dallas during a Southern Methodist University football game. Greg Lyons, left, and Stephen McStravick (Knoxville ’14), proudly possess the team jerseys and other memorabilia of their grandfathers. Lyons was the starting left guard of the 1951 national championship team.
